Mom & Me - Road Trip to Florida!!

OMD, I totally furgot to tell you all, in March Mom and I went on a road trip down to Clearwater Florida to visit Aunt Karen and Cousin Jake (her Min Pin)

This was my first time ever walking on a beach - I loved it!!  So many great smells.  And then the next day we all went  to Pet a Palooza - WOW there were so many other dogs, it was great!  I of course did very well in the car.  It took us 2 days there and 2 days back.  I just LOVE staying in motel rooms!!!

I've Moved and I'm an Only Dog

Well, Momma and I moved to Lexington KY.  I won't go into the details of why, but it was hard to leave my whippet and basset sisters behind.   Very hard for Momma too.  She says they were the only ones who made her think of possibly staying... but she just couldn't.  I'm so glad that I got to go with Momma!!  I loved playing with my sisters, but now I get ALL of Momma's attention.  Here's a photo of me in our new apartment.  YES... I still get sunbeams!!!!!

Fortunately for me, I eat a different food than my whippet sisters! There are some BIG problems with Canidae All Life Stages dry dog food and my sister Athena is affected too. You can read about that problem on their blog here.

See this picture? That's my Bob with me and my new friends - Gremlin (cream color) and Nixie (on Bob's shoulder)

Nixie and Gremlin came to visit last weekend with their Mommy Dayna. They went to a party with some Renaissance Faire people and I didn't get to go... humph! But I got to meet my friends when they got back at night. (well, I already met Nixie!)

Well, let me tell you... I was kinda miffed at Momma for a while. I could tell that she had been holding Gremlin ALL NIGHT! But I can't stay mad at momma for long ;)

When everyone got home and me and my whippet sisters got to meet everyone, it was a little crazy - but only for about 10 minutes. Soon everyone was just walking around anywhere they wanted. My big sisters knew better than to chase my new friends... but they sure kept trying to sniff their "you know whats". THAT was annoying for them I'm sure!
